Dr. Kathryn Turnbull, DVM

Dr. Turnbull was born and raised in Essex, VT. She loved animals from a young age and always wanted to be a veterinarian. Her life has revolved around horses ever since she met a very important horse named Fox. She started riding when she was 10 and quickly got involved at the barn and with the local 4-H club. She leased, rode, and showed Fox up until she went to vet school and still visits him every chance she gets. She graduated with a degree in Animal Science from University of Vermont in 2011, and then with a DVM from Purdue University in 2015. After graduating she moved to New Mexico to start an internship with Dr. Jenson, and stayed on as an associate after finishing her internship. Her areas of interest include internal medicine, critical care, and foal/neonatal care. When she's not working she enjoys hiking and camping with her dog.
