Jenson Equine Hospital is a full service equine facility  dedicated to the well being of our patients. The practice owner and full time veterinarian, Paul Jenson, is a board certified surgeon, Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Surgeons, and member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners. He has focused on equine care for 27 years. He opened the new hospital in November 2013.

We have a strong emphasis on performance horse medicine, including race horses, western performance, and English disciplines. We have a full range of diagnostics abilities from blood work, radiographs, ultrasound, and equine video endoscopy. We perform a variety of surgeries and alternative care methods.

Our small animal clinic is run by Amber Dennis Thompson, DVM.  Her 26 years of experience has given her a vast amount of knowledge where she is able to provide the best possible care for your pets.  

Our small animal clinic offers wellness exams, sick exams,  surgery, dentistry, and diagnostic testing.  We also have an onsite pharmacy.  

We are located at 1217 Futurity Drive in Sunland Park, New Mexico.  We are adjacent to the Sunland Park Racetrack and  are across the border from El Paso, Texas. 

Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.  We also have doctors available for emergencies.
